Happy Paws Rescue is holding its first annual calendar photo contest! The winners of the photo contest will be featured in a 2012 Happy Paws calendar! We will sell these calendars as a fundraiser to support the mission of our rescue.

If your pet is a ham for the camera, here’s how you can enter:

1. You may enter a pet adopted from any shelter or rescue. Current foster animals are also eligible. You may enter as many photos as you like.

2. Photos must be high-quality from digital cameras to be enlarged on to a calendar page. No cell phone photos or print photos, please. All photos must be your own work and not under copyright.

3. Email your entry to happypawsrescue@gmail.com by August 31, 2011. Use subject line: Calendar Photo Contest. Please include your name and your pet’s name.

4. In early September, we will post all photos on our Facebook page in a photo contest album. We will ask our supporters to “like” their favorite photos. The pets with the most “likes” will be featured in the calendar!

5. Calendars will be printed and available for pre-order for $15 each. Calendars will be sold at events, as well as be available online.
